DEAL:
Diagnose: By using medical history and blood tests, you are able to diagnose your patient’s allergies and determine what allergens to include in their prescription.Educate: By using our educational materials, you are easily able to educate your patient regarding the use of prescription allergy drops and any precautions involved with taking this medication.
Administer: With a follow-up appointment two to three weeks after the initial consultation, you can confirm that your patient is able to appropriately self-administer the drops. They will bring their initial prescription (vial #1) to their appointment, and you (their physician or health professional) or a nurse can review the patient instructions sheet with them.
Look/Listen: By having your patient administer their first dose in the office, you are able to observe for adverse reactions.
